Concierge Blue is now offering babysitting services on St Maarten St Martin. Now you can find friendly and experienced day or evening babysitters. For your reassurance, all our babysitters have been thoroughly screened and all references have been checked. Each of our babysitters has a strong child-care background and are fully capable of babysitting responsibilities.
Booking a babysitter
It is easy to book an evening babysitter with the convenience of our on line service or a single phone call to 866-207-9377. We then contact the professional babysitters who have passed our selection process. If you have booked with us before, we will always try your preferred babysitter first. As soon as we have arranged for a babysitter to attend, we confirm your booking to let you now who be sitting and give you some information on their previous experience. You'll find your bookings are quickly and conveniently confirmed by a phone or text message usually within a few hours. We then ensure that both you and the babysitter receive a phone or text message reminder on the day of your booking just to ensure no appointment is missed.
Meeting the sitter
All of our sitters will arrive 15 minutes in advance. However, we strongly suggest that on your first sitting you arrange for the babysitter to arrive 30 minutes before you leave. You can then introduce her to your family and be in a position to see how well she relates to your children. If the children are ready for bed she could read them a story or if they are older you could start a game together. Our experience is that when you introduce your babysitter in this fashion, children will soon feel comfortable with the sitter.
Our sitters are carefully screened and all have significant experience. The sitters have a passion to work with children. You will find they are quick to put you and your family at ease.
Booking Notice
We will always try to meet those spontaneous last minute needs even if we are given as little as six hours notice. However, it is highly advised that most bookings be made with three or more days notice and we are quite happy to take advanced bookings of up to three months ahead.
Important Note: MAXIMUM LIMITS. We adhere to child safety standards and we place maximums on the responsibility of a baby sitter. We advise and require that a babysitter can not take care of more than 2 children under the age of three (3) years old or a total of 3 children. We will be happy to find a second babysitter if a guest has more than the aforementioned maximums.
Day Nannies
Concierge Blue can arrange for a day Nanny for day time outings or excursions. We have a selection of approved Day Nannies that can travel with you on day trips to neighboring islands. Contact us for further details!
Children with special needs
Unfortunately we can not always guarantee a sitter in these situations. We have several sitters that have special needs experience but their availability is limited. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged in these situations and we will work diligently to meet your needs. When contacting us please state the type of special care that is required.
Professional Babysitters Hourly Rates
At the end of the evening, your babysitter will reasonably expect you to pay them for the hours they have worked rounded up to the next quarter of an hour. The following rates of pay are currently recommended for evening babysitting in your villa. To ensure it is worth your babysitters time (due to expensive island transportation costs) we recommend that babysitters are paid for a minimum of 4 hours on each booking.
Hours of 7AM-10PM is $15.00 per hour Hours of 10PM-7AM is $20.00 per hour
Rates for special circumstances Please note that special circumstances such as holidays (ie. Christmas, New Years, Valentine days), day excursions, and children with increased needs have variable pay and booking rates. At the time of booking, we will notify and advise you of any recommended sitter pay rate or booking fee which varies from the standard babysitting rates above.
